Lon Smith Cares promotes some of our charitable efforts that we work on year round to help serve the communities in which we work. We have a strong desire to be impactful in positive ways to our great city and state. As a long time DFW roofing company, we look to utilize our talent and treasure throughout the area to support those in need.

Roof for Vets – A project we are particularly proud of is our program called “Roof for Vets”. This program allows us to take our skills as roofing contractors and apply it to those in need – specifically, American Vets. Through a nomination process we select a Vet who is need of a new roof and we get the new roof installed. It’s our way to of saying “Thanks” to those who have risked their lives in the past to keep America safe.

In previous years we have given away roofs to families in need, including some of the stories you can read below. You can also watch a couple of stories to the left with the videos.

The Condron family faced an unimaginable tragedy, losing their precious toddler to a house fire. Lon Smith Roofing, participating in the No Roof Left Behind program, was honored and humbled to provide a free brand-new roof for the family. Watch Video @ WFAA.
